Fajã de Baixo’s Soup Festival

An annual event that started in 1988, and offers a large variety of soups to manifest the importance of gastronomic events in its impact on tourism. An event that brings the community of Fajã de Baixo together, in order to promote local and regional products, and also the region itself, as well as its economy.

Events as this one tend to be more frequent in the Council of Ponta Delgada, thus contributing to Ponta Delgada’s “Healthy City” status.
