Pineapple Culture Interpretation Center

CICA (the acronym used for this Center) is located at Fajã de Baixo parish, where these exotic fruits have been grown since the beginning, and was inaugurated in 2016. Its purpose is to maintain and share the memory of pineapple-growing through different media and themes: a documentary, an exhibition, the businesses and the people, gastronomy, to name some. There are guided visits, a documental library and a shop.
