Ponta Delgada Cultural Center

It was founded in 1943, by a group of individuals linked to the cultural life of the islands of São Miguel and Santa Maria, with the purpose of bringing together those promoting intellectual activities. The journal published could congregate, keep, divulge and encourage the Azorean literary production.

Since its founding, the institute has granted prestige and added-value to the traditional Azorean heritage by defending, divulging and promoting artistic, scientific and literary activities.
