São Miguel Arcanjo

This bronze sculpture of the Archangel Michael (Numidico Bessone, 1913-1985), patron saint of the island, is one of the most beautiful statues that can be found in the streets of Ponta Delgada, both for its volumetric and dynamic elegance as for its expressiveness.
