António Nunes

Father António de Oliveira Nunes, born in the parish of Santo António on February 23, 1918, dedicated his life to the Remédios community, where he played an important social, economic and cultural role. He was one of the great promoters of the elevation of the place of Remédios to parish. He died on December 27, 1995.
