Pico do Carvão Viewpoint

From this point the view is magnificent. From here we can see how the island was formed by three great volcanic eruptions. One can also observe the city of Ponta Delgada and the city of Ribeira Grande. On good days you can see Pico da Vara, the highest point of the island.
