Pedras Negras Viewpoint

This place has got the name from the dark lava on which the belvedere is set. It is located on the seafront, and right in front, there is a cove shaped like an elephant.

The elevation allows for an extended view of the north coast, from Ponta da Ajuda to Nordeste, the county that lies opposite to Ponta Delgada.
