‘Parque Urbano’ or Urban Park

Inaugurated in September 2009 and with an area of 30 hectares (74 acres), it is the largest green area of the county. The green lung of Ponta Delgada, a symbol of environmental sustainability, has a maintenance circuit and a pedestrian trail throughout its extension.
