Chapel of São Pedro – Parish of Fenais da Luz

If you stroll along the picturesque seashore of the old part of Fenais, you can see, at the top of a basalt platform, the Chapel de São Pedro.

The chapel, which houses an old image of St. Peter, was built in the 16th century and recovered by the Ponta Delgada Municipality. In the vicinity, you will find a picnic area and a belvedere.

This is indeed a place of excellence to appreciate a vast view of the north coast of the county of Ponta Delgada, with green mountains and deep blue sea.
