"Granel"

A small construction for agricultural storage, the Granel was used to store produce. Its rectangular shape is structured as a vertical wood frame covered by horizontal layers of boards set on top of small stone pillars. Raised from the ground, the access to its interior is made by a small ladder.
No longer used regularly, it is still possible to see some in Sete Cidades, namely, in the following streets: Caminho das Ruas, Rua Nova, Rua da Cidade and Rua Baixa.
