Casa Grande and Garden

Built in the 19th century, this large summer residence designed by Nicolau Maria Raposo do Amaral displays characteristics of the Romantic style and high-quality masonry. The first owner was António Borges, who projected the green surroundings of the house (notice the flower bushes) and of the Picturesque Garden across the road and that spreads as far as the Blue Lake.
