Casa da Seara – Sete Cidades

Casa da Seara (Harvest House) was built in 1850 by decision of Joaquim Álvares Cabral and stands out in the natural and architectural landscape of Sete Cidades. It was, during the 19th and the 20th centuries, a unit for the production of tea, denominated by ‘Tea of the Harvest’. However, despite its high quality, it was deactivated, remaining as a mere symbolic production.
