‘Casa das Palmeiras’ or Palm Trees House

This is the masterpiece of engineer Abel Coutinho. This house was, in the 20th century, owned by a wealthy merchant called Carreiro Mendonça who had his store on the ground floor; nowadays it has a lodging and a restaurant.
