Pico Vermelho Windmill
Built between the 18th and the 19th century, it’s one of the last of the Dutch style standing windmills of the island of São Miguel. It was restored and it displays the grinding tradition of Ajuda da Bretanha. It has two stories and houses a small display of artefacts as the miller’s measure boxes, the miller’s and his wife typical outfits; it can be visited during July and August.
