Fenais da Luz Social and Cultural Center – Bartolomeu de Quental Nucleus

This center is cultural equipment of the Ponta Delgada Town Hall, located in the civil parish of Fenais da Luz − one of the most rural locations on the island.

It was created with the intent of promoting, divulging and give value to Heritage and Culture, encourage cultural legacy, the creation of new audiences and habits in the cultural community.

The Cultural Center of Fenais da Luz is used for the organization of temporary exhibitions, conferences and colloquiums, book launches, among other events.

It is also known as the Municipal Library Bartolomeu de Quental Nucleus (honoring writer and priest from Fenais da Luz, Bartolomeu de Quental), owning over 3000 books. It also has an auditorium that can seat more than 50 people.
