Regional Conservatorium of Ponta Delgada

A building dated from the second half of the 19th century, where the Ponta Delgada Public Library and Archive functioned for many years – later removed to the Jesuit College.

The building was later occupied by the Regional Conservatorium of Ponta Delgada, the largest music school of the Azores – founded on October 15th, 1964. It is possible to visit the main entrance hall and the stairway.
