Monument to Antero de Quental

Located in the Antero de Quental Garden, the work was created by the internationally-acclaimed sculptor Ernesto do Canto da Maia (1890-1981), born in the city of Ponta Delgada. The monument is made of three pieces: the bust of Antero, and two muses placed years later and created by the sculptor Soares Branco (1925-2013).
